The Center for Research Resources and Development (CRRD) of KMU was established to combine and integrate various research platforms or high-end instrucments in the campus with the aim : (1) to train and cultivate medical researchers in the interdisciplinary fields of biomedical sciences, (2) to set up various research platforms encompassing data mining, bioinformatics, and technology transfer, and (3) to establish and develop new reagents/ techniques and state-of-the-art methodologies for disease diagnosis and treatment. Recently, the center has allocated its available resources to research divisions based on their respective instruments need and research focuses. These divisions include: (1) Proteomics Research Laboratory, (2) Cellular/Molecular Biomedical Imaging Laboratory, (3) Bioinformatics Core Laboratory, (4) Biomedical Mass Spectrometric Analysis Laboratory, (5) P2 and Stem Cell Research Core Laboratory, and (6) Instrument Center. Now, the center focuses on the development of resource sharing and technology supporting to promote the competitiveness of KMU.
